Wellbeing and You - December 5th 2011

Wear it for Wellbeing 2012 - official launch

As part of the Milton Keynes Mind ‘Everyone’s Business’ campaign, we shall be holding an event in conjunction with the Living Room which aims to raise awareness of the impact of mental ill health on workplaces, individuals and communities, offering an opportunity to explore ways that we can support better mental health and wellbeing for all.

The event will include a range of local groups that can support positive wellbeing, information about small steps that people and companies can take to improve wellbeing and an opportunity for you to discuss your needs.

The event will take place over the lunchtime period, enabling people to pop out for a while (and, thanks to the Living Room, save 20% off lunch). Starting at 11.30am and finishing at 2.00pm, people can pop in at any point.

Other local providers in attendance will include Relate (relationship difficulties account for a significant amount of difficulty in the workplace), holistic therapists, life coaching and business consultants.

This drop in event will be the first in a series of events to promote positive mental health and wellbeing – there will be a selection of workshops in the New Year (watch this space), we will be working with other community groups to support their learning and also supporting local communities to set up locally based support.

For more information, contact us or keep your eye on the website for further details.
