Fit 4 Life

The Fit4Life programme is all about physical activity, and is part of the national Time to Change Campaign.  Many studies suggest that physical activity can help mental well-being and the programme is open to those who suffer from, or who may be vulnerable to, mental health problems.  Even every-day stresses at work or at home may mean that some kind of physical activity could help you.

Football
A relaxed session run by our very own MK Dons coach!  Pick up skills and have some fun!  We cannot guarantee that you will be in the next Dons squad, but we can help you get a little fitter!

Relaxation and Yoga
With all the physical exercise going on it's important to take some time out to relax.

Cycling
A 'laid back' cycle around Stony Stratford, taking approximately 45 minutes.  All abilities welcome.  Please bring your own bike.  If you do not have access to a bike, we may be able to lend you one.

Community Gardens
Working with York House, we have a plot at the rear of the centre and are working to develop a space which is relaxing, shared with other groups and grows a variety of plants. All welcome.

Other activities

We also run sessions in partnership with other local organisations - for example:

  • running and walking groups with Climb Your Mountain
  • Gardening, both at the Community Garden and links to other groups, including BWell in New Bradwell and the community allotment in Bletchley
  • Yoga classes (linked with  relaxation)
