Fit 4 Life

The Fit4Life programme is all about physical activity, and is part of the national Time to Change Campaign.  Many studies suggest that physical activity can help mental well-being and the programme is open to those who suffer from, or who may be vulnerable to, mental health problems.  Even every-day stresses at work or at home may mean that some kind of physical activity could help you.

Women's Football
A beginners course run by our very own MK Dons coach!  Pick up skills and have some fun!  We cannot guarantee that you will be in the next Dons squad, but we can help you get a little fitter!

Golf
Take part weekly in golf sessions at Wavendon Golf Centre with a professional coach!  Get fresh air and exercise - you don't need to be an expert but you may become one!

Relaxation
With all the physical exercise going on it's important to take some time out to relax.

SingFit
If you didn't realise that singing can be physically good for you, think again!  Singing gets your heart pumping and your toes tapping!  Join us for a lesson with a qualified vocal coach.

Cycling
A 'laid back' cycle around Stony Stratford, taking approximately 45 minutes.  All abilities welcome.  Please bring your own bike.  If you do not have access to a bike, we may be able to lend you one.

Other activities

We also run sessions in partnership with other local organisations - for example:

  • dance classes
  • mountain climbing
  • bulb planting
  • Yoga classes (provisional from September)

For more information please ring 01908 678540

Please note:

  • you may have to undertake an assessment process before you start.
  • all activities are subject to availability.
  • we may charge a nominal fee to help with costs
  • regular attendance is expected
  •  you will need to make your own way to and from venues.
